Let there be blogs!
One thing I have noticed over the past month or so is the number of store managed blogs that are popping up. It used to be there were about 2 or so (and I think I listed most of the ones I found) but now it seems like 1 or 2 a week are coming online. I would certainly like to boast I caused that, but we all know that isn’t true.
Funny thing is, Dream Dinners franchises seem to be leading the way in new blogs starting up. Not sure what caused that, but there are several of them out there now. At any rate I still think it’s a neat way for stores to have a personal touch and their own identity away from the corporate site. Regular websites can be fairly hard to design, maintain and get running. Plus most of them don’t allow for the easy content addition like a blog can.
So who knows, maybe it’s interesting timing, but quite a few of the meal assembly stores out there seem to have the same idea.

Hi,
I came across this blog and thought it was interesting for the Meal Assembly Owners. Mindy Byers was the heart of DD. I wonder if she left because they wouldn’t heed to her wealth of wisdom that she has…..her ideas are nuggets of gold.
Check it out: http://www.joyfilledyou.com
Is Mindy no longer with Dream Dinners? I believe she posted several comments on this site some time ago. Was she going against the grain too much?
It does appear she has gone her own way and is offering marketing advice to small business. It took me a few minutes to jump to the beginning of the blog so I follow the whole “thread” so to speak.
Tuckerbox, I have the inside scoop and know for a FACT that your post contributed to the popping up of DD blogs.
I think you have me confused with someone powerful and influential.
