Dinner by Design Announces Ohio Expansion Plans

I guess we should just expect an announcement like this for every state in the Union?

Dinner by Design, the Midwest’s largest meal assembly company, today unveiled plans to expand in Ohio.

Dinner by Design has identified more than 40 new franchise territories in Ohio in suburban and urban areas including metropolitan Cleveland, Columbus, Cleveland Heights, Akron, Canton, Cincinnati and Youngstown.

According to company president and CEO John Matthews, Dinner by Design’s ability to bring families back to the dinner table with healthy, convenient dinners is well matched with the demographics in many Ohio communities.

“Dinner by Design has the #1 meal assembly brand name in the Midwest,” said Matthews. “Further expansion here will increase customer convenience, and will benefit Dinner by Design franchisees by providing more opportunity for meaningful co-op marketing and promotional efforts in the region.”

At Dinner by Design, people enjoy in-kitchen meal assembly sessions, fundraising events and private parties, group delivery and pick-up meal services. As a result, customers save valuable time, stress and mess usually associated with dinner preparation. “It’s all about convenience and a healthy alternative for busy people, all for around $3 to $4 a serving — less than even many fast food options,” said Matthews.

Dinner by Design is different from others companies because it focuses on quality of food, operational excellence, customer satisfaction and value added benefits to customers like the corporate and group delivery. Dinner by Design was named “Best Food” among all meal assembly companies in an independent comparison study.

Dinner by Design is holding special meetings for people interested in owning a franchise on Friday, January 25 and Saturday, January 26 at the Sheraton Cleveland Airport Hotel in conjunction with upcoming The Franchise and Business Opportunity Expo.

In terms of business ownership, Dinner by Design offers an industry leading package including exclusive territories, site selection assistance as well as start up, training and marketing support, innovative technology and menu development.

Dinner by Design already has four kitchens opened in Ohio. In North America, the company has nearly 60 locations opened, and agreements for another 40 kitchens.

Business Times Daily called Dinner by Design “one of the hottest new retail franchise sensations sweeping the nation” and Entrepreneur Magazine named Dinner by Design and this market segment one of the “Hot 29 Businesses to Start.”
