WELLINGTON — Money may be tight right now, but Americans still don’t want to cook if they don’t have to.
Which is why Diana Scheiner decided to stop at The Fresh Market here Wednesday evening to buy a prepared meal on her way home from work.
Putting her ready-to-eat lemon dill salmon and pasta side dish in her shopping basket, the Lake Worth resident explained that she just didn’t want to drive all the way home and then cook.
“I thought about going out to a restaurant to pick up something, but this was cheaper and probably healthier,” Scheiner said.
