Whoops… Bit of a server glitch
I was out at an event all day Sunday and while my back was turned the server decided it would misbehave.
Some corruption seeped into one of the tables of the forum database and somehow it managed to crash the whole database subsystem. Once that crashed it took the whole web server with it.
The problem has been corrected (for the moment anyway), but I need to give the whole system a once over to make sure nothing else has been affected. I will keep my eye on it and hopefully we won’t see any more issues.
Everything should be up and running again.
